Welcome

An estimated 40 million people worldwide are infected with HIV and while many advances have been made since the introduction of drugs to treat HIV and AIDS, an estimated two million people still die each year. Of further concern is the growing number of people that are developing resistance to one or more of the classes of approved drugs. For this reason, there is a need to find new ways to treat the HIV virus.
